Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

By using VeraVoice, you agree to these Terms. VeraVoice is operated by Data Specialists Group LLC. You must be 18 or older to use the product. If you do not agree, do not use VeraVoice.

2. The service

VeraVoice is an informational vocal-insight product. It measures acoustic signals from your voice during guided sessions and may show scores and optional coaching text. Outputs are for self-reflection. They are not professional advice.

3. Sessions and Individual plan

Sessions 1–3 are free. After that, continued Individual access is $29 per month, billed through Stripe, unless we state a different offer at checkout. Features included with Individual access are described on the pricing page.

4. Optional coach upsell

We may offer optional coach-related features or add-ons for an additional fee. Those offers are optional. They are not included in the free sessions. Availability, price, and what’s included will be shown before you pay.

5. Practitioner waitlist

Coaches and other practitioners may join a waitlist for a future practitioner layer. Joining the waitlist does not create a paid account, a client relationship, or a promise that practitioner access will launch on a specific date.

6. Informational, not medical

VeraVoice is informational, not medical. It is not a licensed therapy, counseling, medical, or diagnostic service. Scores and coach text are not diagnoses and should not be used to make treatment or emergency decisions. If you are in crisis, contact a licensed professional or call 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

7. Stripe billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time; access typically continues through the end of the current paid period.
• Taxes may apply. Refunds, if any, are handled case by case — email support@veravoice.app.

8. Accounts and deletion

You are responsible for the email and credentials you use. To delete your account and associated data, email support@veravoice.app. Voice samples are processed and discarded as described in the Privacy Policy; scores may remain until deletion is completed.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse VeraVoice, including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, upload unlawful content, or use outputs to evaluate other people for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.

10. Intellectual property

The VeraVoice name, site, stories, and software are owned by Data Specialists Group LLC or its licensors. Your session content remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process it as needed to provide the product.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The product is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data Specialists Group LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of VeraVoice. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product in the three months before the claim, or $29, whichever is greater.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum if needed to protect the service.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we publish a revision.
